We have a model for community transformation
The Foundation advances a model for community transformation that builds and strengthens four interconnected “pillars” of a self-sustaining community.
At the heart of this work is a central convener, indigenous to the community, that coordinates stakeholders and drives a comprehensive strategy to build up the four pillars—education, public safety, economic development, and health and human services—and identifies areas of overlap. Leaders and staff within each pillar work to engage the broader community.
